seeker GmbH takes the protection of your personal data seriously and adheres strictly to the provisions of the Data Protection Act. This website only collects personal data to the extent that they are technically necessary. We will never sell the data collected or forward them to any third persons for other reasons. In the context of collecting, processing and utilising data, we pay particular attention to the observance of all data protection-related provisions that are incorporated in but not restricted to the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telecommunications Act (TKG), the Teleservices Data Protection Act (TDDSG) and the German State Treaty on Media Services (MdStV). Furthermore, all of our employees that are engaged in the processing and utilisation of your personal data have been sworn to observe data secrecy. This obligation to observe secrecy continues even after the termination of an employment relationship.

The subsequent declaration provides you with an overview of how we guarantee such protection and which types of data are collected for which reason.

Personal data

Personal data are data that reveal the personal and actual properties and circumstances of the user, i.e. yourself, thus rendering identification possible.

Personal data such as the name, company name, postal and e-mail addresses, telephone numbers and so forth are forwarded to us via the contact form and then recorded. These data are solely used to process your query. Personal data are stored by us for as long as required to process a query via our contact form. Legal requirements form the only exception.

We have ensured the security of your personal data against loss, mutation or further use to the extent technically possible.

Non-personal data

seeker GmbH automatically collects and stores log file information on its servers that your browser sends to us (the so-called IP address). The data collected are:

  • Browser type/version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the site previously visited)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Time of the server query
  • Name of the files and websites called
  • Volume of data transmitted

These data are collected anonymised and cannot be allocated to any specific persons. These data are not amalgamated with other data sources and are deleted following a statistical evaluation.

Usage of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).  Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States . Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.  Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.  You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.  By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Right of information

You are at all times entitled to receive information on the data stored in respect of you, their origin and recipients, as well as the type, scope and purpose of their storage. We are happy to provide you with information on the stored data within the scope of your legal right of information.
