Eindhoven

The Dutch city of Eindhoven lies in the province of North Brabant. It consists of the districts of Centrum, Woensel-Noord, Woensel-Zuid, Tongelre, Stratum, Gestel and Strijp (with Meerhoven). The city's station central is a major rail node for the Netherlands. Eindhoven also has one of the country's largest airports. The city is primarily known as the largest manufacturing and research centre for Philips. The city's sights include Van Abbe Museum for modern art, the DAF museum of vehicles, Evoluon conference centre, De Admirant modern tower, Genneper Park, Frits Philips Music Centre and the Vesteda Tower. The city has many hotels offering accommodation starting at €50 a night. De Heuvel Galeria is worth a visit for shopping.
