Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is located in south west Pennsylvania. The founding of the city dates back to 1758. It was named after a fort which bore the name of the British Prime Minister at that time. In the 19th century, Pittsburgh developed itself into one of the leading sites of the American steel industry. Today, the city has more than 312,000 inhabitants and can easily be reached by plane due to its own airport. Pittsburgh Airmall is an award-winning shopping mall and is good for shopping. Many different hotels with varying prices are available for overnight accommodation. The sights include the Carnegie Museums, to which the Andy Warhol museum belongs, the largest museum in the world built solely for one artist. After visiting the museum, it is worthwhile to take a trip to one of the city's coffee houses, which Pittsburgh is famous for. For example, Nicholas Coffee Co. in Market Square. After having a coffee, the city center offers great shopping facilities.
